This site was created for my blossoming public aura.

I’m obsessive about everything. Scratch that. I’m passionate about everything. If it’s something I can pursue, I pursue it. Now, that being said, what am I about?

I love to write. It’s the bottom of the sensory funnel I use to interact with the world. Would I consider myself a writer? Not quite yet. Why? I’ve not been published; I don’t have any publications under my belt.

I’m a nature guy. I find energy there, find peace and calm, and find inspiration. I’ve been working retail for the past… two years? And I know just about everything there is to know about athletic/hiking footwear. I’ve camped half my life through Eagle Scouts, and have spent nearly a decade teaching others how to camp and minimalize impact on the environment while doing so. 

My passion has always been for psychological fiction writing. I have a personal dedication to the American Gothic Novel (i.e. Poe’s work, Lovecraft, Faulkner) and the 1800′s in particular as a time period. My passion started when I was very young (before I could even read): I suffered from night terrors and sleep paralysis. These nightmares were imprinted in my head, and although I wasn’t mentally abused when I was young, the nightmares changed my way of seeing the world.

My girlfriend is vegan/raw out of requirement, so food is a very important aspect of my life as well. I’m conscious of what’s healthy and what’s not, and of late I’ve been pursuing the qualities of “alternative medicine.”

Finally, I’m a spiritual person (if the previous paragraphs didn’t set that example. Heh) in that I pursue a centered mind and body. I’ve spent my life seeking peace and self understanding. Writing, above all other things, allows me to clear my head of confusing thoughts, and pacify frustrations.

I’ll be starting my own freelance writing business soon, and I’ll be on my way to a career in what I love doing.
